Game of Thrones leva Emmy de melhor série dramática de 2019

Game of Thrones da HBO foi para o Emmy Awards deste ano com 32 indicações, e apesar de ter ganho apenas 2 prêmios, a série acabou levando a principal categoria da premiação para casa.

A série ganhou o prêmio de Melhor Série Dramática pela quarta vez consecutiva, enquanto Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) também ganhou o prêmio de Melhor Ator Coadjuvante.

“Adoramos cada minuto que passamos com vocês”, disse o produtor executivo D.B. Weiss ao elenco no palco. David Benioff ainda acrescentou: “Estes últimos dez anos foram os melhores anos de nossas vidas”.

Game of Thrones agora está empatado com Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law, The West Wing e Mad Men como os maiores vencedores da categoria de melhor drama.
